THE STORY BEHIND

"HIDING PLACE"

 

The workings of "Hiding Place" began long before it was in our hearts.  In May 2013, Dan and I got married.  Words could not describe the joy we both had, and we thought things would just get better.  While we were right in believing God's plan for our lives together was good, we never imagined events and situations that were to come.  In the first 4 years of our marriage, we experienced job change, job loss, loss of a our home and the loss of our first child.  In all these things, the Lord was drawing us, refining us, embracing us, teaching us, helping us and revealing more of Himself to us.

In His love for us, the Lord allows us to go through various trials and difficulties so we can be refined, come to know Him more intimately, and share the encouragement He has shared with us with others so they can be encouraged (2 Corinthians).

​

We pray that you will be encouraged and embraced by the Living God as you listen to the songs He shared with us in "Hiding Place".  In your trials and difficulties, may you come to know the love, embrace and grace of our Lord Jesus in a way you never have before.  May you find that Jesus is our constant, secure and eternal Hiding Place.
